i grew up online. kid pix was my first art program. i learned html/css from deviantart journals. i made south park amvs on early youtube. sites like blingee, quizilla, iscribble.net, and photobucket (to name a few) all shaped how i think about the internet.

i miss when the web was unique and not driven by corporate money and ads. i miss the personal expression and the freedom!

now it's all apps and bots and corporations! no more fun! no creativity allowed. social media feels exhausting and draining

i made phoneholm to escape the machine. a space to share what i make and how i think. something fun, something that might inspire someone else to make their own site too!

remember, money is our voice. spend it on what you need in small and local shops. no consumerism. no amazon or big names. people first!
