an adorable birthday bear in a party hat and bow tie enjoying their cake. this is a cookie/craft mold with "1989 brown bag cookie art" stamped on the back, but the tag says 1995 hill design. cookie molds like this were apparently popular in the late 80s and 90s for making fun shaped cookies or crafts

basically, i went to an estate sale with my mom and saw this lovely teddy bear, slouched down and alone. it looks like this teddy has received a lot of love in their lifetime and i didn't feel right leaving them behind. wearing a dashing red bow - this bear is ready to live again!

a humorous 8 page pamphlet of recipes and soap opera stories about "the hidden world of Manwich Valley." there are five "short stories", each following a different woman, paired with their own Manwich recipes! somehow, Manwich solves each of their problems. the booklet doesn't have a year, but my research came up with 1988. i highly recommend reading the stories but cannot stand by the recipes. "for food lovers with a penchant for drama and suspense, you are about to embark..."

Private Adoption • Year: 1920s - 1950s

getting your baby's shoes bronzed was a big thing between 1920 and 1950. parents would usually send off their child's first walking shoes to be bronzed as a keepsake. this pair has leather soles, which likely dates them to before 1960, when rubber soles became more common. i like to imagine this shoe saw bright green grass, blooming flowers, and unknown bugs.
